About the Project

Brandon Allen Homes is a professional designer specializing in residential plan development and visualization. A Brandon Allen Home is thoughtfully designed and tailored to your family’s needs and desires. BA Homes offers a personalized service from concept to final production and they are with you every step of the way.

I created the identity and branding for Brandon Allen Homes as well as other collateral. We designed a simple, vintage, and ornate key logo featuring the BA monogram. One of the companies’ values is to provide professional and quality designs with complete customization and fine attention to detail. The brand personality is young, sophisticated, exclusive, and family-oriented.

Initial Logo Drafts

In every branding project that I complete, the client receives a project brief document with various questions about branding, logos, competition, likes/dislikes, project goals, target audience, etc. Brandon Allen Homes's audience was a customer base looking for homes in mid-range to high-end-range homes. Knowing that the audience was looking to purchase more expensive homes, we knew the branding had to feel sophisticated, friendly, attainable, and exclusive. BA Home’s values included providing quality designs, customization, and fine attention to detail. The most important part was that trust is the foundation between the designer, builder, and customer.

The first initial logo drafts were sophisticated yet simple designs that featured a simple monogram style, a house monogram, and the antique key monogram. When I am creating and experimenting with different logos, I like to make patterns out of the logo. Making patterns out of logos and typography is definitely one of my favorite things to do in Adobe Illustrator.

Final Branding

After creating the various drafts for the BA Home’s logo, we decided on the antique key logo. Once the logo was decided, the logo is perfected in every way possible. The logo was cleaned up and ready to go. In the final package, I like to include examples of the logo in many formats and mockups.

Extending the Brand

After the branding was completed, the BA Home’s package also included a comprehensive brand guide, social media images, Microsoft Word letterhead, various business card templates, email signature images, and a marketing sheet template.
