About
From Baltimore, MD.
I graduated from Stevenson University in 2018 with my studies in Visual Communication Design. I currently work full-time as the Creative Manager at Barcoding, Inc.
I am the Creative Manager at a local supply chain & automation company, Barcoding, Inc. Throughout my career at Barcoding thus far, I have led the launch of IntelliTrack, the launch of a re-branding for Barcoding, developed social media & email campaigns, created new websites with HubSpot, and created viral GIPHY gifs. I am also known as an award-winning graphic designer with 8 GDUSA awards, 6 Indigo Design awards, and 3 Baltimore ADDYs!
As a graduate of Stevenson University, I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Visual Communication Design. While attending Stevenson, I served as Vice President & Communications Chair for the AIGA Stevenson student chapter. I currently serve as the Communications Director for the Baltimore Chapter of AIGA and the Vice President for the American Advertising Federation of Baltimore (AAFB).
In addition to working as the Creative Manager at Barcoding, I'm also a freelance graphic designer on the side. Some of my clients include; Tricerat, Le Puzz, Human Rights Campaign, Think|Stack, San José State University, Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education (MAEOE), Pasadena Sound, The Litho Club of Baltimore, AIGA, Business Volunteers Maryland, Malachite Studios, Anne Arundel County District 32, Maryland Women's Catholic Conference, and Stevenson University.
One of my specialties as a graphic designer is information design. I specialize in the organization of information through typography, images, and icons. I have created websites, infographics, tradeshow backdrops, guidebooks, brochures, and more to show my skills. I can say that not only are my clients happy with the work I present to them but some of my designs have won advertising & design awards!
In 2013, I had the experience of studying at the Center of the Applied Technology-North in the printing and graphic design programs. I also competed in SkillsUSA, a national competition, I became the Silver Medalist for Graphic Communications at both regional and state levels.
I am always eager to take on a new design challenge, and my ultimate goal is to inspire people about design. With design and print by my side, I am unstoppable! In my non-design life, I love to explore nature and find new adventures with my husband, James Cotriss. We FINALLY got married in August 2020! I am also obsessed with collecting new and vintage puzzles, buying all the seasonal Target birds, and I am a lover of penguins.

Music is life.
Listening to music is one of my biggest passions in life. The drive to work is always much more enjoyable with a good Spotify playlist. Check out some of my featured playlists: House Music, Throwbacks, Punk Rock, and DRIVE (63 hours of variety).
My favorite genre of music is by far house music. You’ll see me most likely listening to Duke Dumont, Kaskade, Disclosure, or Tiesto.
A few years ago, I recently started collecting vinyl records too and I love it! In my free time, I love to do puzzles and play some of my vintage (and new) vinyls.
