The Maryland Catholic Women’s Conference (MCWC) is a volunteer faith-based organization made up of Catholic women. They are daughters, wives, mothers, sisters, and friends. They are focused on planning an annual event for Catholic women in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the State of Maryland, and surrounding areas to come together in worship, faith, and fellowship.
Since MCWC's next conference was in the fall of October 2020, they were looking to rebrand since their logo and branding was outdated. The MCWC team and I collaborated on creating the identity & branding, as well as additional collateral such as social media profile & cover images, website banner images, and social media post designs in general.
The logo features Mary and Jesus—which was very important to the organization to have these figures in the logo. The logo depicts stained glass as you would often see in catholic churches. I also assisted with updating their website by handing-off color & typography suggestions, and new images that made the organization look more professional, young, and unique.
"Krystal did a great job designing a new logo for our faith-based organization. She was open to our suggestions and wishes while guiding us with her own experience, knowledge, and creative talent. She created a brand for us that is simple yet versatile. She took the time to give us a thorough overview of her design process and the many uses of the new logo, including complimentary assets like social media profile and banner images. The final package included everything we needed to make changes to our online platforms, including color schemes and relevant images. She was wonderful to work with, available for questions and conversations, giving us helpful documents and instructions for easy implementation of our new brand. We couldn’t be happier with the final product!"
