About the Project
Pasadena Sound is based out of Pasadena, Maryland providing live DJ mixing, quality sound systems, and lighting. They stand apart from local DJs and AV companies by offering quality equipment and services at prices individuals can afford. Pasadena Sound provides their services for many types of events including; corporate or school functions, private parties, weddings, and live music.
In early spring 2018, Pasadena Sound was an up-and-coming sound and entertainment company. As a start-up, I knew it was important to have a good brand to represent themselves. Pasadena Sound and I collaborated on creating the identity & branding, as well as additional collateral such as business cards, t-shirts, stickers, and logo animations for future videos. It was important for the branding to stand out since they were a start-up company at the time—and that’s why I avoided typical imagery such as headphones, speakers, records, and microphones. The final branding features auxiliary cord cables and an operational amplifier.
